Clients
Toolrails works with any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP.
Supported clients
Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf are tested on every release. Other clients that speak streamable HTTP should work too.
Signing in
On first use your client opens a Toolrails sign-in page. You choose which toolset the client can use, and it stores a token. Nothing to copy by hand.
Headless agents
Scripts and servers can skip sign-in by sending an API key.
